Botswana Business Awards – Terms and Conditions

1. Eligibility: Entry for the Botswana Business Awards and Investment Summit (hereafter referred to as “the Awards”) are open to companies and individuals that meet the eligibility criteria outlined for each award category. These criteria will be specified in the official Awards documentation.

2. Entry Validity: All entry submitted must adhere to the specified submission guidelines and deadlines. Any entry received after the deadline will not be considered for evaluation.

3. Entry Accuracy: By submitting an entry, the entrant affirms that all information provided is accurate and complete to the best of their knowledge. Misrepresentation of facts may result in disqualification.

4. Privacy: The personal and company information submitted with nominations will be used solely for the purpose of the Awards. We respect your privacy and will not disclose this information to any third party without prior consent.

5. Judging Process: The Awards will appoint a panel of independent judges with expertise in relevant fields to assess the nominations. All judges are required to maintain strict confidentiality regarding the nominations and their evaluations.

6. Judges’ Decisions: The decisions of the judges are final. No correspondence or discussion will be entered into regarding their decisions. The organizers of the Awards are not involved in the judging process.

7. Rights to Use Information: The organizers reserve the right to use the information provided in the nominations for promotional and marketing purposes, including but not limited to press releases, event materials, and publications.

8. Intellectual Property: All intellectual property rights relating to the Awards, including trademarks, logos, and the event name, are the property of the organizers. Unauthorized use of these properties is prohibited.

9. Award Recipients: Award recipients may be required to participate in promotional activities related to the Awards. This may include but is not limited to interviews, photo shoots, and participation in events.

10. Event Date: The Botswana Business Awards is scheduled for 29th August 2024. The date is subject to change, and any updates or changes will be communicated to all relevant parties.

11. Limitation of Liability: The organizers of the Awards will not be held responsible for any loss or damage arising from the nomination process or the event. Participants in the Awards agree to release the organizers from any liability in this regard.

12. Disqualification: The organizers reserve the right to disqualify any entry or nominator who fails to comply with these terms and conditions.

13. Amendments: The organizers may, at their discretion, make amendments to these terms and conditions. Any changes will be communicated to all relevant parties.

By submitting an entry for the Botswana Business Awards, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to abide by these terms and conditions. Failure to comply with these terms and conditions may result in disqualification.
